I am kinda partial to this guy.

    Thoughts?

    Holmes/Hill/Schilens/Kerley/Turner/Shipley

He's had a case of really tough injuries lately in Cincy and one where I don't think he can contribute this year.

Edit: didn't see he was just waived.

Anyway, he's a solid slot WR but we have that in Kerley.

Danny Coale who was left for by DAL and was a 5th round pick this past April might be the better White guy WR to target IMHO anyway.

I actually wanted the Jets to draft Shipley at the time. He's a great little receiver that catches everything you throw at him, he's elusive after the catch and usually turns it upfield in a hurry. Not sure about the injuries but wouldn't mind seeing him in a Jets uniform this season.

Off Topic but congrats on Golson man, I've rooted for him to be the starter since the offseason (I think we had a convo about it), he should be great for you guys especially with the potential emergence of Goodman (who I think should have a great season).

From what I remember, he was pretty good at times. Wouldn't mind taking a flier On him.

I like Shipley, he wasn't bad as a rookie. He's not a difference maker, but if he can get open still, I'll take a shot on him. Chances are, the knee robbed him of the quickness he needed to get open, but he was still a good route runner with good hands in college.

Has he been waived by two teams in a fortnight? Might be a clue to his current worth there.

Not eligible for the PS because he played 15 games in 2010.
