i dont blame him one bit for being pissed. especially as a guy who almost lost his career due to knee injuries. the only thing he was wrong about is that sanchez did know better, he did the same thing a few weeks ago. a real bitch move by sanchez. either pull up or take your lumps. dont go after some guys knee cause you got scared.
I understand Vilma needed to go...............but I will always appreciate the player. He fits the Saint's defense very well and I wish him nothing but the best.
vilma was one of my favorites, hell i have 2 signed helmets of his(one mini, one large) but he just didnt fit in our defense and i dont think he would of even fit into rex's, plus i believe that harris is just as good if not better then vilma was/is.
Same here. I just dont like hearing that other players want to sock our franchise QB. For such a smart and well respected guy, Sanchez certainly makes the same stupid mistake to chop at the guys knees after a pick 6....
You're right Scik!! Sanchez is our guy and don't start shit with him. I was glad to hear Sanchez called Vilma, that was classy. Vilma's a good guy and restrained himself. Sanchez will grow some and realize you can't go at a player's knees and go head first at the goalline. Sanchez is an emotional player that will do anything to win the game.

In any case, Mangini could've tried making a defensive scheme based on the players he had instead of forcing his scheme in and selling low on all the guys who wouldn't fit. If he was the least bit flexible at all he'd probably still be coaching here.
I can understand him being pissed. When someone does something that could hurt you it's natural to want to tear their head off. I wish someone would sock Sanchez if he does that again because he could end up like Trent Green.
If Vilma would have socked him, Im sure every vet on yalls team would have understood. But what do you expect Vilma to say, that he thought the play was ok? Ofcourse he's gonna say what he said.
