Assuming Miami ends up with Taylor, did they end up with the better RB? This definitely hurts the Jets as Taylor is better than anyone else Miami has.

P.S. I really like Mostert but his ability to last 17 games is a serious issue.

    100%.

I liked the Dalvin move for us because it gives Breece some extra time to get 100% healthy before we need him to touch the ball 20+ times a game.

But IF Miami lands JT, they absolutely got the better RB this offseason.

I heard a lot of insiders not believing Taylor is actually going to get moved.

He’s a good back but he’s played behind one of the best center-guard combinations in the league with a road grader at right tackle on the other side. I still think Miami’s offensive line is pretty week.

Did their center play center last year? Williams was a RT in college and a guard in Dallas. Austin Jackson sucked on the left side so they had to spend resources to bring in Armstead. They’re turning Isaiah Wynn into a guard.

    Seems like a mess.

I'm dying to see what the trade compensation is.

mostert and wilson are a joke tandom of starting RBs at this point. maybe if this was SF 3 years ago. taylor is a top 5 at worst RB in the league. would be a huge bump for miami and yes he's better then cook.

taylor is really good. sure the o-line helped but he carried that offense that had no QB and no WRs 2 years ago. His breakaway speed and ability to run through tackles is elite. and he's only 24.

The issue is RB value is really low and teams don't want to throw away a lot of picks and have to pay top dollar for a RB so it's likely he plays in indy this year and walks in FA to a smaller deal then he thinks he's worth

Hot take: I'd rather have Cook for one year, $7 mil than Taylor for multiple years for at least $10 mil a year while also giving up draft picks.

Taylor is the better RB hands down but not sure I'd ever want to commit more than a year to him.

Dalvin's numbers are comparable to JT...

Not for the pick they will have to give up + 13/m a year. It would be amazing if they were dumb enough to give up more picks and a massive contract

The only positions worth giving up picks for us would be OT or WR, or maybe DT depending on how they feel about our guys, but really the only positions I worry about now are those first two

I'd be really surprised if they added a DT. Who would they cut? Q isn't going anywhere. Jefferson, Woods, and Thomas all had good TCs and preseasons. At least for this season, I don't see any need at DT. I wasn't a believer in Thomas, but he has really looked good this TC and preseason.

I’m more worried about OL and WR

If Becton, Brown, and GW play all 17 games we should be fine…but any one of those guys missing time really hurts those groups

agree. DT is the least priority right now as NC stated, are pretty solid and having a good training camp.

WR depth for me is a little concerning espeyif GW god forbids ever misses a game or teo
