    It's the first no-hitter by a Boston lefty since Mel Parnell's historic outing in 1956.

    I'm not sure, but I have to assume he's the only pitcher to beat cancer, clinch a World Series, and throw a no hitter. Pretty impressive for a 24 year old.

    danm thats pretty sick, i thought that Lester was never really going to be that good again, i guess i was wrong, the Bosox are STACKED in starting pitching, its going to be hard to beaat them down the strech.

    Followed by a Masterson gem into the seventh. Geez, what were the terms of that Santana deal again?

    I've said this before - I hope the Sox young pitchers and the Yankees young pitchers can all stay in place for a while, because this could be a fun decade of baseball to watch.
