25. NY Jets (10-6))- Levi Brown, OT, Penn State Levi Brown had a great Senior Bowl, but only an average Combine, he is a huge, talented left tackle and has pro bowl potential. The Jets get lucky because they desperately need a left tackle. ive seen some bad mocks but this one takes the case http://nfl-draft-site.blogspot.com/2006/12/robs-mock-nfl-draft.html also check out this site. pretty cool mock database even though its a skins site. http://www.hailredskins.com/MockDraft.htm
Well, you know that ESPN did predict that he would struggle against the elite pass rushing talent due to foot speed!
Hey, if he dropped that far, his talent makes him a good selection...I think he could play the right side if needed.
http://www.footballsfuture.com/2007/prospects/levi_brown.html "Levi Brown looks like an excellent right tackle prospect." http://www.nfldraftcountdown.com/scoutingreports/ot/levibrown.html "Could project to either left or right tackle at the next level" It's not that crazy when you consider that RT is a big hole right now w/ Clements leaving.
Oh man, if Brown is there, we HAVE to get him. He could definitely play RT, he has got the size and intangibles to play there.
