I do like the Jets with the points. We're not a terrible team, and I still don't think the Giants are that good. I can see a high scoring game.

I'm posting my picks for the first time this year: 5 picks: Saints vs Panthers UNDER 43.5 The Saints have no offense; let me explain: The Colts game really opened my eyes. The Saints rely on the run to set up their passing game. The Colts used a 4-3, Tampa-2 system with a quick front seven to stop New Orleans' running game. The Panthers have a very quick, talented front seven. Duece is out, and thus there will be no running game. Since Carr is in for Delhomme, I think we have a sloppy, field position game. Steelers - 6.5 A lot of people like the Seahawks with the points. I think the Steelers had a bad game last week. They will play physical football and dominate at home. Lions - Money Line Santanna Moss could be out. Washington just isn't that good. The Lions' offense has been on a roll. If their defense can keep Washington in check, I think they win outright. Team prop - Jets OVER 19 Being a lifelong Jet fan (which isn't that long) my gut tells me that we'll come out explosive against a rival. Our offense sucked against Baltimore and New England because they have a good defense. Our offense sucked against Buffalo because for some reason we always suck in Buffalo. The Giants have a swiss cheese defense. I think the intensity of this game, coupled with Chad being one week healthier, will allow us to score over 19 points. Won 3 out of 4. The teaser is looking good - the Colts already have 13 points, and the Chargers already scored 14 points in the first quarter.

Okay, the Jets pick turned out bad. The other pick was golden considering the fact I picked the Ravens to win the game outright. Overall, I am 10-2 straight up and 5-7 against the spread.
This is now two weeks in a row where I want head-to-head against several of you guys and turned out to be correct. Last week it was the Texans-Falcons game.
Yeah, I got 13 points to add to each game. Pays out around .85 of every dollar so I bet a bit more on the teaser. I usually like to take 3 or 4 teams (usually heavy favorites or dogs) and tease their lines. Anyways, I went 4 for 5 this week. Went 4 for 7 in college football.
Again, I have an up day sports betting (granted, college football was another issue...), and I have a crappy day with this.
