I'm stuck listening to this tool at work and 1st he is whining about the fact that the Yankees have to play a night game in Tampa and then fly to Seattle the following day. Ok I'm sure the Yankees aren't the only team that has had to play a night game on te East Coast and then play a game on the west coast the next day. In fact the Mets had a Sunday night game and then had to fly to Anaheim for a series. This guy went on for 20 minutes about this.

Then here we are an entire inning after Cano's error and he is still harping like that's why the Yankees are losing. Sorry John the Yankees still led after the 7th and I don't think Cano's error had any effect on the way Bruney and Ramirez pitched. The kicker is as soon as the error happened he said "well we don't wanna harp on it as everybody makes errors" Here we are a whole inning and half after the fact and he won't shut up about the error. Cano had a huge HR didn't he? It's not like that error led to all 7 Toronto runs..... just shut up.

"Ya know Susan...If the Yankees won all those games that they lost, they'd easily be undefeated at this point in the season, just goes to show that baseball is such a great game."

It's like quit making excuses for the ineptitude of the Yankees. Cano screwed up but that's not why they gave up 7 runs to the Bluejays. Every game they lose it's because of this or that not because the other team was better that day.

BTWit appears that the boo birds are out in the Bronx today as all I'm hearing is booing from the fans.

"Ya know Susan, a break here or there and the Yankees could be leading the division. They say it's a game of inches in football, well I think the same applies to baseball right Susan?"

The most successful team in all of sports has a boob on the radio and on TV for their broadcasts....Pathetic... I have to watch them on mute.

Then you look at the Mets, and they have talent everywhere. I can listen to, or watch their games because of who's broadcasting. Its really sad.

He's also really knowledgeable, in terms of breaking down an at-bat and the thought process of hitters.

Absolutely godawful when it comes to discussing strategy, though.

Yeah, but who cares about baseball strategy? It's terribly overrated and absolutely boring to talk about.

Ya know Susan...A few more inches to the left, and it's a tie game, Bobby may even score from 1st. It's just THAT close in baseball.

Poor Hank Steinbrenner. It must be terrible to be part owner of the only team in baseball that gets injuries. But he promises next year is going to be much better. He's not allowing injuries next year on the team.

Worry about your team which is going to come up short again. No team has had the injuries we have had BUT we still should be alot better, IF our supposed best player in baseball performed like one in big spots we'd be in the thick of the race.

How do you know the Mets are going to come up short again unless you are worrying about them?

Geez. It's obvious you follow the Mets.

Nothing to worry about my team. The Mets have a 17 year old shortstop - Wilmer Flores, who is 6.3 and 175 lbs who will probably make it to DOUBLE AA next year. ALL SCOUTS say at this point, he is better than A-Rod was when A-Rod was 17. He is from the Dominican Republic.
