For those of you who have access to the Curiosity Steam channel, there's a new segment entitled "Joe Namath". As someone who grew up idolizing Namath, and who still thinks he's the greatest Jet ever, I already knew most of the football-related stuff this show covered, but I didn't realize how much he's done over time to help people. Even when he was drinking, and even when he behaved badly with that Jets sideline reporter, he was still spending money and time and raising money for people in need. He emphasizes that the biggest "team game" of all is Life and that we need each other. It was a very uplifting film to watch, especially so as a lifelong Jets fan. P.S. - If the mods think this should be a sticky thread or put in some other thread/forum, use your judgment, but I think with all this negativity around the Jets a little positivity might be helpful.
This mod thinks you are right. Please provide a link to the show or share more info about the show so we have more folks checking it out. Stickied this for a week.
It's on Curiosity Stream, a channel you need to pay for AFAIK - it's like $3.00 month, or sometimes included in packages like HULU. Curiosity Stream | Stay curious
