This should be the end of any of the Danny Woodhead talk. He is a great athlete and today he has shown us that. One of the biggest regular season plays of the Rex Ryan era.

That is a bit of an exaggeration. He was pretty much unblocked. A nice block anyway.

Can we also make this the Tony Romo Appreciation Thread?

Yes but it was his speed that got him the block. It was a combination of Mike Westhoff and McKnight making that play.

Obviously I love the idea of the thread, but did you really have to use the phrase "Never Forget" on 9/11 to describe a punt block?

In the most desperate time he saved what could have been a REALLY brutal loss, the defense owes him a huge thankyou for bailing him out. Because now we get to hear how Romo choked instead of our defense fucking sucking

+1 to that and nice call on the INT to get safety help so that Revis can stay below the WR

Yea and if you saw right after the game apparently that was a Mike Pettine call. Glad to see that Rex goes to him in important positions like that and we get a pick.

He blocked the kick before the punter even got the kick off his foot. About as textbook a block as I've ever seen.

Once again Joe shows how he's grown up and can be counted on as a player on this football team.

Woodhead is too short to make that play.
