Indianapolis can't run the ball on us. Our kicking game might have fucked it up last week but this week, with them not having any playoffs spots to clinch left, us having playoff hopes and the number one defense. = win to get to 8-7. If Jacksonville, Denver, or Baltimore lose early, the Jets will be looking at some open doors for sure so that helps too. Just have a good feeling about this one.
That'd be a sick way to respond after a demoralizing loss. The help we need is probably too much though.
What difference does it make if we're 20th or 15th in the draft? If there's a shot at the playoffs, keep playing for it.
First, that's a terrible attitude to have when we still have an outside shot. Second, why is everyone so obsessed about a few spots in the draft? If our scouting and GM do a good job we can find as productive a player at 20 as we can at 13.
Agreed, and I dont want to be the guy that says it, but i'll say it anyway. The Dolphins, Jags, and Broncos will lose at least one more game before the season is over. If we win out we still have a chance to get in, wether we deserve that chance or not.
Yeah I assume they never quit and will give us entertaining games to watch the rest of the way. Go 1-1. But like I said, the help needed will be too much, we have no fuckin' tiebreakers.
if we go 9-7 im positive we will get a playoff spot. But leaving the JETS in control of there own destiny is never good. Backups or not for the colts JETS are still the JETS
Denver plays at 115 like us, so hopefully Pittsburgh takes care of business in the morning, as does Houston vs Miami and Ne vs Jax... if that happens there shouldnt be any reason why we dont come out a blazing..
I'd rather take the win than worry about the 2 spots we might drop down. Its not like if we aren't drafting in the top 10 we wont find a good player. Besides, most of our first round top players have been from pick 12 and beyond.
A better draft pick is a shitty excuse for losing. You never know how the draft will turn out and what players will be good or bad in the NFL so why not take a shot at the playoffs if theres still a chance to make it in.
Rooting for a high draft pick should be banworthy. A high draft pick is a consolation, not an aspiration.
