It all adds up, this year is so much like 2002, it's almost scary. Take a look: In 2002 -lost big to jax -beat buff early -lost to NE early -beat NE second time around -lost heartbreaker to Cle -beat Det -lost to Chi All of this has happened now in 06, are we also destined for the following down the stretch? -blowing out GB -beating Minn -beat Buff 2nd time around -beating MIA 2nd time around -loss to Oak With only a few exceptions (lets hope loss to oak will be one of them), this season is almost exactly like 02. Jets will crush GB.
None of that really matters but that is an interesting coincidence. I doubt we CRUSH the Packers like we did that year, but I wouldn't be suprised if we win by 10+ points.
That is some eerie shit. hmy: I hope like hell we don't lose down the stretch, but I really don't want to lose to Oakland.
Thats great ,just when i thought it was up to the jets to determine their destiny ,You go and show me its god who doenst like the jets. Im going to church.
Awesome job with that man. That's very interesting. 2002 was probably my favorite season as a Jets fan, and I remember being at that Packers game very well. Probably one of the greatest moments of my life (sad...but it's ok, im only 20)
They'll probably be our Round 2 opponent. Round 1 is probably going to be either the Ravens or Patriots. I hope it's the Patriots, I like beating them. The final round will probably be the Chargers, and that one is going to be tough. Then the Bears in the Super Bowl, and we win the rematch! Wouldn't that be great if it happened? I think we can beat anyone if we just make it into the playoffs. We'll be underdogs each and every week, we'd be like the 96 Yankees. Or we play the Cowboys in the Super Bowl, that's another interesting storyline. The oldest coach in the tree against the newest!
And so it continues, the jets blowout GB. If history continues, we are do for a win next as well against Buff.
I remember the entire stadium watching the final seconds of the Miami-NE game up on the jumbo screen during the opening minutes of the GB game. Realizing at that moment that a win will give us the division title, the Jets crushed the Pack. Greatest. Game. Ever.
