Call me crazy, call me nuts, call me whatever. I woke up this morning with a weird feeling. We will win today. We will win next week, and next Thursday. Rex Ryan has experience against these quarterbacks, and has defeated them in BIG games (playoff games, on the road). The next 3 are all HUGE for the Jets season. We are 1 game back in the division and I believe we will be soul possession of 1st place in 3 weeks after knocking off the Patriots on the road. Statistically, we are much better than our 1-3 record suggests. This week we will finally cut down on turnovers and stupid penalties. The refs will start to make the correct calls. It will all start to come together. Mark it down. Bump this thread when appropriate. -Rob A
If the Jets don't turn the ball over 3 games in a row, this can happen. The odds of that happening are slim. I would not be surprised if the Jets won today or against New England, and I guess I shouldn't be surprised if the Jets win a home game, so all three can happen. Just very doubtful.
While I agree with the OP that we are better than our 1-3 record, 2-5 seems to be our best case scenario. 2-5 going into the Bills game with a chance to be 3-5 still keeps us competitive in the division with a much easier schedule the last 6 games after the bye. While 2-5 does not sound appealing it is not terrible and at least arguably exceeds or equals any reasonable expectations coming into the year.
Thank you god .....ROBA woke up with a good feeling that means certain victory...does the coaching staff know yet?someone tell them right away, throw the game plan out
There is no "might",as much as I want this to be true we are gonna need more then having a " good feeling"
Being your roommate for two years really let me know how crazy you are.( I say this with love) Have always loved the fact your an optimist
I'll take it one week at a time, but I really don't see us beating Denver, even at home. Beating the Chargers is possible and the Patriots very possible. Denver though... I doubt very much.
I'm hesitant about this "Soul Possession" of which you speak. I say there's no place for it in today's NFL. I mean, ya know, parity and stuff....
