lol yes that, by the book, was as black and white a penalty as there is. stupid rule, but not much the refs can do besides throw the flag. and with the wilson PI being bullshit, he was tugging TJ from the 10 yard line to the endzone, pretty clearly stopping him from being able to make a move to get under the ball. and he didnt make a play for the ball at all so that didnt help him
They said repeatedly that the penalty was because he prevented the kicker from putting his kicking foot back down on the ground. Complain about the rule all you want, but it was the right call. There's also a good reason for the rule - it's to prevent players from going straight up the middle into the kicker and hitting them with their leg up in the air, since that would be dangerous.

This league is setup for Drew Brees and Payton Manning to score a ton of points. You can't play hard nosed defense anymore. These ticky tack penalties are going to ruin the game. And these refs should have their kids shot in the street.
