Fair enough. It's ugly right now we got someone who has actually played football before. Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
Compensation is a 6th that can become a 5th based on playing time. What a desperate move. And a stupid one at that.
There's something incredibly sad about trading an asset away for a shitty quarterback who was already on the roster last year.
I even specified Flacco was the wrong guy. A veteran IS needed. Not one that’s never played in the system that he’s supposed to show our young QB how to play in.
Depending on what they gave up it could be a positive deal. Flacco gives the Jets somebody to put on the field if Zach Wilson is playing stupid reindeer games out there. I'd much rather the Jets had acquired either of the other QB's on the Eagle's roster but Flacco addresses the no veteran option situation ok.
We couldn't have picked a worse QB to mentor Zach if we tried. Or wait, maybe we were trying? I'm shuddering to consider what we are giving up.
So we don’t sign a vet, fine…then we trade possibly a 5th for one to maybe win a few games in an already lost season? JD is a joke, is there no plan?
At this point we gotta see the humor in this. There is seriously nothing left but to laugh about this stuff.
They were dumbasses for letting Flacco walk in the first place. Now we have to spend draft capitol for a Qb that was already on our roster. Another Genius move by the "Rookie" CS. NOW they realized they needed a Vet QB. Hubris thy name is Douglas.
The one and only thing Douglas had going for him was that he really knew how to get value in a trade. I guess that went up in smoke rather quickly.
I was thinking the same thing. This franchise has to be the worst in all of sports. Second longest playoff drought behind the Mariners I believe.
