Yes! Matt Leinart is the perfect guy to build a franchise around.

definately do this. either bush or leinart will HAVE to fall to #2, which means we get what we need no matter what. we can't go wrong

I agree chances like this dont come around that often.Im ok with Leinart or Young.Either way if Chad cant go its way better than Bollinger,Fiedler,Testaverde.

Goddamnit, I thought we were safe from Leinart and Young and now this whole thing is going to pot. And not the good kind.

how is having matt leinart as your a qb a bad thing? as far as i can tell he is the safest bet at qb since #18 for the colts.

Please God no. The way things are lining up Young will fall to four. Before you start groaning - realize that I want to trade down. I don't care how unsexy Young is right now, once draft day rolls around GM's will be drooling for him. Trade down - get extra picks - rebuild through depth.

The draft is like the lottery. The more tickets/picks you have - the better your chance for a jackpot.

I would trade down and adress other needs. But if a Qb must be taken, I'd prefer Leinart over Young, even if it means trading up for the #2 pick.

Hell yea i say do it. We will grab Leinart and he will be great to build around as our Franchise QB. I just hope we dont have to give up too much.
