Assuming that the timeline goes as expected the Jets will have 4 less days of practice then most of the league. Because training camp is scheduled to start 15 days before the first preseason game, and the Jets play on a Monday while most of the league plays the Thursday and Friday prior. Most teams will start training camp either Wednesday and Thursday while the Jets and Texans could not start until Sunday. http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/6799301/latest-nfl-timeline-starts-tuesday I do not want to over think this, but four days in this abbreviated preseason is a lot. That is four less days to get a good look at fringe players and rookies to learn the play books. Glad football is back, but it is pretty lame we start four days behind.
it means nothing with an experienced team. 4 days less of bumps & bruises! That means our guys will be fresher.
arent players allowed to report early anyway so i dont see the big deal most of the guys will probably be in the building by the end of the week anyway
Yup, and w know a guy like Sanchez is gonna be at the door waiting for someone to unlock it first thing tomorrow morning.
