Jets Team Report 3/12/2006 By Rich Cimini New York Daily News http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/teams/jets/index.html
Katnick? Sounds like catnip. Whatever. I dont know about that, taking a tip from a guy that was an ok tackle hmmmm. Maybe gragg is a better scout than a player, hopefully. Robertson gone? He is 6'1 317. He is not a 3-4 guy. But i think he can be a heck of a DE in that scheme, he makes alot of money maybe atrade next year could happen, but i dont mind him staying. Im still going with my gut, and saying mangini is keeping a 4-3 and using the 3-4 for specially designed plays for certain situations.
I'm not sure what to take from that. Is he saying Herman Edwards system was directly responsible for all the injuries? And how is "dropping the hammer" going to improve that?
Ive always liked Joseph Addai, and if we do take a RB rd 2, then he would be the best choice. Of course, maybe its a smokescreen, and maybe the CS in fact sees RB as our biggest priority...you never know
basically yes. By not allowing players to slack off, put on weight, skip sessions, etc. and forcing them to prepare properly, eat right and focus you cut down the injury risk. Doesn't mean there'll be no injuries, obviously, as Pennington is still on the roster.
How dare you criticize Pennington- I mean, remember that great half of a season where he actually earned his money, a few years ago of course. Don't you know he's sacred here! Well, at least to some people- but not me
"Kitna under Katnik calling signals. Katnik hikes to Kitna. Kitna back to pass. Nice block pick up by Katnik. Coles is free over the middle at the 15. Kitna slings it to Coles. Coles at the 10, the 5, touchdown Jets! Kitna head butts Katnik; look at the celebration! Jets 24 Dolphins 3 with 6:40 left in the 4th. Take it away Susan......................."
