Good, Idzik's priorities appear to be in order.

He has been solid. Retain him, draft or sign at least one OG. Preferably two since Colon is hurt and Winters can't be trusted.

I know he was mainly considered a run blocker when we signed him, so I'm impressed he only let up two sacks.
Was his work in the run game still good?

Good move Howard has been a rock at RT. Bring back Colon and hopefully Campbell can step in to that role in a few years.

To me this is a must signing. One of Tanny's biggest flaws was playing games with the OL and not having enough talent and depth. I hope Idzik does not make the same mistake.

Austin Howard was a Tannenbaum find. He picked him off the scrap heap and has turned out great for us.

What's sad is the Jets signed Howard off the Ravens practice squad in November of 2011, allowing the Wayne Hunter experiment to botch any chance the Jets had at the playoffs. We were 8-5 and probably would have been better off throwing Howard into the RT spot when we signed him. I wonder what the Jets expectations are of Aboushi and Campbell. Keep in mind the Jets are trying to convert Campbell from a Dlineman to an offensive lineman. Sound familiar? JR Sweezy was drafted by the Seahawks in the late rounds and also converted, and started at right guard for them in the super bowl.

Glad to hear this, it's always fun to watch your offseason predictions come true.

A nice 4 year deal, ends when he's 31 and we move on after that

    I'm down

The signs keep pointing that maybe Woody made the best move in hiring Idzik.

Time will tell, but the signs keep saying so

Good to hear. Didn't know that he just allowed 2 Sacks. Nice

Perhaps the more appropriate DT/OG conversion example would have been career Jet, Brandon Moore?

I'd go Brandon Moore before JR Sweezy on that one.

I know a lot of players are starting to get cut. Can we re-sign Howard any time though? I know we can't sign these other players yet.
