Good read, glad the 1's are going to get a quarter to get a little more work smoothing out the edges of The new offense installed. Gonna be a food game to watch and see what has been installed so far.

I just want to see Tebow play as much as possible.

He is the key to this season. You read it here first.

As a fan I like how Rex keeps the starters in a little longer, but if someone important were to get injured it would look like a real bad move.

No Holmes or Kerley. I expect them to run the ball on almost every play.

Oh come on with the elite group of WRs we have who needs Holmes and Kerley.

Am I the only one hoping Hunter doesn't start? I'd like to see what Howard can do.

90% of the time during preseason games I'm thinking, "Please no injuries. Please no injuries."

What positions are close enough battle that each preseason game could constitute a depth chart change?

I don't really think about injuries while the game is on, just watching what is happening, what is working and what isn't...trying not to be too excited or too upset if it doesn't go well as it's just pre-season. But if an injury does happen then I start to freak out about how they got injured for nothing, etc. etc.

RB, 3rd down back, WR, every backup position, Coples vs. Devito, Demario Davis in the nickel or dime, K, P, Special Teams coverage units, emergency QB...

LB Rex wants a quicker team on the field this season.

Most of the backup positions are pretty set, ie Ducasse @ guard, Slauson @ center, Howard @ tackle etc etc.

Devito is a lock to be our starting 3-4 DE, Coples for 4-3 (his position will vary) no competition there.

Davis is likely to see most action on passing situations anyway, I think our punter/kicker are safe, well yeah special teams is a gimme, and im pretty sure Tebows a lock for #2 qb with McElroy @ 3

Maybin,Sapp and Davis will push everyone except Harris for starting roles. Scott,Thomas and Pace need to step it up.

Maybin and Sapp are long shots to push Pace and Thomas out since Pace and Thomas are far more well rounded players and are drastically superior against the run.

Maybin and Sapp can no doubt steal some snaps from them, but theres no doubt in my mind they keep their starting jobs.

Davis I suppose could push Scott for his starting job, but id be SHOCKED if it happened in the preseason. If Scott starts dogging it in the middle of the year then Davis could certainly steal minutes
