He’s really good...wasn’t used that much in a low volume passing offense with Henry and AJ Brown Similar to Jonnu IMO
He's a beast of a blocker. Fits the profile. Edit: https://theathletic.com/1203925/201...other-corey-davis-shit-we-won-the-game-right/
I’d prefer Samuel but I assume he is drawing higher offers. Juju and Galloway will probably command $15+ million a year and have their own issues. Overall I’m fine with it, we desperately need offensive weapons.
Mid-tier FA at a good price, but with great pedigree at just 26, and potentially coming into his own following a career year? I like this type of move a lot.
We needed a WR. Injuries are a concern, but if he stays healthy jets got some weapons they desperately need.
Corey Davis is a big body receiver like Quincy was. He comes from a Titans offense that used two tight end formations and ran the ball a lot to take the load of Tannehil. Excellent blocker and can contest and make tough catches, he fits the new scheme perfectly. Don’t know who Jets QB is going to be but Davis, Mims, Crowder should be a very productive group of receivers.
I love it. He has a super high ceiling, and doesn't use tik tok to my knowledge. Young, team player, cheap price as far as FA goes. How anyone can complain is baffling, but I'm sure it will happen.
Assuming Perriman doesn't return (I hope not), we now have two #2 receiver types in Mims & Davis to go along with 2 slot guys in Crowder & Berrios. Overall that's a pretty solid group of 4 receivers but it would still be nice to have that legit #1 stud receiver to go along with them
we wouldn't give robby 10 mil a year but we'll give davis 12+ a year? not happy with FA so far at all
