people don't realize how much is required form a good TE. the ability to be a hybrid WR/OT is not a common skill set.
This is a fantastic move. You watch his tape and he looks twice as fast as any of our starting TE's we had rostered last year. Great hands, punishing blocker. Ground game is going to be great and that will open up the PA pass.
the funny thing is, we traded herndon to them for a 4th. conklin still started over herndon. then we signed conklin anyway. also minnesota nicknamed him gronklin which is well just an awesome nickname
Amazing. May be is my bad memory, but I would say our TE corps had more than one drop per game played on the average.
Since the Jets are signing free agents all over the place, Joe hasn't shown any of his cards for the draft. It's still a mystery how the Jets will draft.
Who was the Jets TE that tried to hurdle a would-be tackler and was injured as a result? He should be cut.
wasn't kroft. I think it was brown. that was the game kroft, wesco, and RG were all out and we were down to brown and yeboah only and i remember brown doing that and i was like WTF now we only have yeboah. IIRC yeboah had a few catches that game too including one nice one
found it. it's at the 3:18 mark it was daniel brown and yeboah did have a nice diving grab over the middle that game. my memory hasn't failed me today lol
living in the Bay Area... watching Kittle... then watching the Jets... the contrast has always been shocking
I think Coleman is our #2, just re-upped... I mean, #2, for now... hopefully someone who isn't dreadful at pass-pro... iirc, Carter struggled and Ty Johnson was slapstick
