don't like this deal. its got a lot of risk….

maybe I'm just bitter, I'm man enough to admit that. but theres something about paying a layer this much guaranteed on a building team that has me…hesitant.

I'm not ready to be excited, just…praying he lives up to the hype for the duration of the deal.

call me hater, downer, stupid, whatever.

    sigh…

alright so thats CB down at least. maybe we can squeeze out another starter somewhere else, RB, OT, the drafts got options...

It wouldn't surprise me to see Revis finish out this deal. With his style of play, it ages well. Just as long as he doesn't get hurt or anything.

Wonder if there is any no holdout clause in the contract?

With what the way the contract is structured for this year and next, he's not going anywhere

First you complain about people throwing shit Maccagnan's way because free agency hadn't even started and they were bitching, and now you're calling him Maccagnenbaum. Get your shit together, MoPros.

You guys know he just couldn't resist that money. We could have been any team imo. We offered the most $, which is what he lives for.

This fill a huge whole. I'm so pumped Revis is back. The Jets are quickly making themselves relevant again.

Even Manish Mehta admitted that the Jets hit a grand slam lol

It's nice to see now he will enter the HoF in a Jets jersey and not a Pats jersey

The deal isn't too bad not as bad as I thought it would be.........you have to pay big for a Revis at least it is not guaranteed 3 years down the road. And they should still have enough $$$ to sign a stopgap QB, OLB, and a FS.........not counting the draft!

We'll never really know...could have been a Woody spite move and then he saw the error of his ways after Revis and the Pats' souped up secondary won a SB while we went further into irrelevancy the last two years.

So maybe now, if the jets get a QB, Revis can get a non-tainted ring.

    y'know what, give me time.

I've built up such a tolerance for all things DR that I don't think I'm seeing things objectively. this is Tony MaC, leaving the DR love fest for the excited people.

Considering the lack of MLB's out there I don't actually consider the Harris deal overpayment. Hell I don't even consider this one overpayment, all things considered.

Utter nonsense. Check the DB payouts this offseason. Revis deserved the most and it's totally reasonable.
