This made me chuckle. I think there were better choices out there, but Mac has that Texan connection. He probably drafted Bullock. He's got a leg, but he's streaky.
When the Jets and Texans are on, the Texans go on the little screen. This guy is going to be an adventure. I watched him at A&M and for the Texans. He is a hold your breath type of kicker.
I was a big fan of Randy Bullock's coming out. The kid is a pretty good kicker. Like Folk before he got here, Bullock missed some head scratchers. but he can kick. Let's see if a new surrounding helps him get right
Better than Billy Cundiff. I've seen Bullock make some good kicks before..came down to him and Hartley I'm sure best kicker got the job.
Randy Bullock has gone down in history as the first kicker to miss the new longer PAT kick after scoring a touchdown... And this is how badly Texans fans hate him...
You were a big fan?Are you fucking kidding......You must of been the guy that bought the only Randy Bullock jersey ever made...Who is Randy Bullock?,your like some football hipster who wears jerseys of practice squad kickers
You never know with kickers. When Folk signed here he was fresh off of a terrible year with Dallas. And he really wasnt great with us at the beginning either. Bullock could be a decent kicker for us..he also could be horrible. At the very least he should probably know this is his last chance at a NFL job so hopefully he makes the most out of it.
Furney is salty: Andrew Furney @AndrewFurney Nov 9 Seeing the same ppl gettin workouts over & over again will make any kicker at home(me) reach a boiling point. Had to get that off my chest!
He's got a point, young kickers like him and Hocker have harder times getting regular season shots than veterans like Bullock. Even when the veterans kind've suck teams always go back to them because they've been in situations the young guys haven't. Really hard to break into the league as a kicker even when you get a camp invite and look decent.
Texans released Bullock and signed Nick Novak to replace him, despite being ranked among the Top (10) NFL kickers in terms of field goal percentage making 4 of 5 attempts. The lone 2015 field goal miss was a 43-yard attempt that hit the right upright in the Texans' Week 3 win over Tampa Bay. Bullock had 10 touchbacks on 13 kickoff attempts (77%) with the Houston Texans in 2015, keeping him in the Top 7 of NFL kickers by touchback percentage after Week 3. He also made 30 of 35 fg's last season 85.7%
