    Well, he was a Pat, so has some connection with Mangini, maybe he has something in him Mangini likes?

    I dont see this as a bad signing. He is a 5th year guy and he has played alot. He can probably contribute.

    Hank Poteat is a solid cornerback if he's used in some sort of coverage package and that's what Mangini likes to do...he also knows the system.

    Solid is putting it nice...More like below-average...But I can definately deal with Poteat as a Dime back and on special teams.

    If he's thrust into a starting role due to injuries(HOPE NOT!) then you might as well put Matt McChesney at CB.
