Thats awesome. Exciting game for sure. Its week 1 though. Both teams made mistakes that otherwise could have resulted in them dominating the game. New York's Jets vs. America's team in Prime Time on 9/11 should have some big numbers.
We also have the record for most watched divisional playoff game ever, last years Patriots game. 5th most watched monday night game ever (last year against the Vikings) and most watched AFC championship ever (last season against the steelers)
Maybe the guy at finhaven has a point and last night's win was scripted by the powers that be - whoever they are. Hmmmm.
Someone on the comments wrote that the Jets are a fluky team. Someone responded that "If a fluke happens consistently, It’s not a fluke anymore." Perfect way to put it. All these people who constantly say the that the Jets are lucky week after week. If a team is consistently "lucky" every week, you'd have to wonder is it really "luck?"
First sunday night game 9/11 cowboys Jets Rex Rex vs Rob Sanchez/Romo mexican heritage Just a few reasons why this was a record setting game.
Also, Im pretty sure thats the first time in franchise history that Dallas has blown a 14 point lead in the 4th quarter. Can anyone back me up on that? I think it was on 1050 they said that. Jesus, when the Ryan brothers clash its always epic.
That is true... they were 241 wins ZERO losses and 1 tie when leading by 14 or more in the 4th quarter.
Yep, in their entire history, the cowboys WERE 241-0-1 after leading by 14 in the 4th quarter, but its 241-1-1 now
Cowboys + 911 + New York team The interesting point in here is that: New York team = Jets. A couple of years ago this would've been a Cowboys v. Giants no brainer.
so it would be two records set sunday night then, as we became the first team ever to beat the cowboys in which they had a 14 point lead or more in the 4th quarter. they were 241-0-1.
