Didn't see this posted, sorry if it was. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/story/408372p-345709c.html Bush set to Jet in for a visit BY GARY MYERS DAILY NEWS SPORTS WRITER Reggie Bush all but has been fitted with a Houston Texans jersey, but since nothing is guaranteed in the NFL draft, the Jets are setting up a visit next week with the Heisman Trophy winner. The Jets have the fourth pick on April 29 and unless they can somehow entice the Texans to give up on the USC tailback, they have no shot at him. The Jets have the 29th and/or 35th picks as bait, but just one of those selections probably wouldn't be enough. It's not likely they would be willing to trade both, and there's no chance Bush will fall to No. 4. Bush's agent, Joel Segal, said he spoke to the Jets on Tuesday and again yesterday and they were working on finalizing a date for Bush's visit to the Jets' facility at Hofstra. He will not work out for the Jets. The Jets soon will hit the road on their private quarterback workout tour: Vanderbilt's Jay Cutler on Sunday, USC's Matt Leinart on Tuesday and Texas' Vince Young one week from today. The Texans, who had Bush in for a recent visit, are expected to begin negotiations with him shortly. They also brought in Young and North Carolina State defensive end Mario Williams for visits and could negotiate with them, as well. It seems certain the Texans will take Bush and that Young and Williams are backup options. So, why would Bush visit the Jets? "You never know what is going to happen in the NFL draft," Segal said. "We're covering our bases. We expect Reggie to be the first pick in the draft." Bush next week is expected to visit the Saints, picking second, and the Titans, who have the third pick. After Bush goes to Houston, the Saints are expected to take Williams or trade down. The Titans are said to be leaning toward Young over Leinart. If Leinart is available, the Jets may take him. If he is gone, they are expected to take Virginia offensive tackle D'Brickashaw Ferguson over Young.
