Good depth signing, I thought he was a nice surprise last year. I think a lot of people thought he was done but he was definitely productive on the field. Still think we need to draft someone and get rid of the other turds currently in the running back room
The other turds lol so true, and in that TE/S room we could use all new players tbh. If we can mix in some signings w draft picks at those positions we can really start to move forward as a much better team!
Cheap RB3/4, not much to say there. Hopefully a decent RB2 is coming in the middle rounds of the draft.
1.5 million for 346 rushing yards. I guess you get what you pay for. I hope the Jets draft an RB in the later rounds.
@4.2 yards per carry. You get what you get if you don't use them more, but 4.2 yards is still considered above average is it not? Of course, if you just want to moan and groan about a cheap insurance depth RB then fair enough.
Comes back as a vet and can pass block. With the following Carter Coleman Walter TY Johnson All back, I feel we will be adding another name to the group from somewhere. That means that Walter and TY enter camp fighting for that last spot. Sent from my M2007J20CG using Tapatalk
They definitely should! Coleman can't stay healthy, and I'd like to deep-six Johnson and Perine. They could look to add a FB or power back in the draft. I think it's possible they could still sign the FB from the Ravens Ricard, or maybe Firkser as a 2nd TE/FB
Comparing Miami's Chase Edmonds signing 1yr/2mm with this deal leads me to conclude Miami wins this one. Saleh is overpaying ex-sf guys--that's just a fact--don't know if its good to do or not
Like @BroadwayZach just said, might want to check on the Edmonds deal one more time. Dude got a 2 year/12M deal with 6M guaranteed.
you definitely made me do a double take because if that’s all it cost I would’ve hated it even more that Miami landed him.
