He got some plays and didn't do shit. Bring in the next guy.

  5. Jets D-line has not played up to its potential thus far. Changes are needed. Time to extend the roles of both Ellis & Coples. Both are far superior to Dixon at this stage.

I'm sure the next thing we hear from Dixon will be his signing with the Pats.

Anyway I think it's important these guys get their feet wet. We finally had a full draft and not many of them made it to the roster. This season is looking precarious to say the least. Fire every last bullet, have no regrets.

hopefully we are going to see some big changes on the line. devito needs to be pulled. he can be a back up, but not even a good one at that. it seems all he is good for lately is getting pushed back 5 yards and whiffing rather than what he used to do, which was get pushed back 5 yards then grab the guy. devito shouldnt have been retained IMO

I dunno, Devito is about the only one I like in there. Forget a rush, we are getting blow off the ball.

It really starts with Pouha, hopefully he is just still banged up because he is not absorbing blockers like he used to, and Ellis is just big but lacks the strength at this point to play NT.

Devito is fine, I agree, he is as good as we are going to get for a run stopping DE in this system.

devito is the biggest culprit of getting blown off the ball there guy, if hes 5 yards down the field, that means that the running lane to his side is WIDE open. notice how when we switched wilkerson to that side the run game stalled... devito sucks

I thought Dixon was doing well. While he isn't meant to be a rusher I thought he was clogging holes nicely the last 2 weeks. as a run stopper.

Hopefully it's Thomas. I was starting to get worried that only two of our LBs were past their prime, slow players who get by on how they played in previous years. Just play McIntyre, Maybin, Pace and don't screw up the offseason again in the LB dept.

Give credit to Mike Pouncey who is the real deal in there and John Jerry. They were blowing guys off the ball in the middle yesterday. Devito played more inside yesterday than outside. Dixon was being blown back. Harris couldn't get off a block to save his life yesterday and filled the wrong gap several times. He just guessed where the back was going. Run D was good against Pitt, OK against Buffalo (2 big Spiller runs in garbage time not withstanding) but terrible yesterday although it looks like Miami will have a top 5 rushing attack this year if Bush gets back real soon.
