As Per Newsday... Jets raise some ticket prices BY NEIL BEST STAFF WRITER March 3, 2006, 8:59 PM EST The Jets will raise prices on about 60 percent of tickets for 2006, to a high of $90, the team informed its season ticket-holders in a letter mailed Friday. About 11,000 of the best seats at Giants Stadium will increase from $80 to $90. Other seats will rise by lesser amounts and the rest not at all. Overall, the price range now will be $65-$90. That range is wider than has traditionally been the case for tickets for the Giants and Jets, who have not used the elaborate pricing tiers employed by other area pro teams. The Jets also extended to a second year the "My Jets Account" feature available on the team's Web site, in which season ticket-holders can sell, forward or donate tickets up to two hours before kickoff. Of the price increase, Jets vice president for public relations Ron Colangelo said, "We always seek to strike the right balance between keeping our games as affordable as possible while still generating the resources necessary to remain competitive with other NFL teams." my 4 upper deck seats were 60 each why the increase the football did not improve actually they owe me based on last years performance. parking $20 beer $9 watching chad wave the towel priceless
This is a little off topic, but I have a question that maybe someone could help with. How come the jets will not accept credit cards for payment. It sucks trying to get up that much cash for 4 tickets. At least if I could break it up a little it wouldn't hurt as much. My wife just loves when I take our income tax money and buy Jet tickets.
why would you want to charge tickets and pay interest? especially if they are losing lol i do the same thing with tax check money, the wife takes what i spend on tickets and pockets it
I don't really want to, but for a month or two I wouldn't care about the interest. I just find it strange that in this day in age they don't accept credit cards.
what pisses me off is the preseason tickets i never go they should offer them to the people on the waiting list
I didn't see it last year was my first year getting them, maybe I didn't notice it. I agree about the pre-season tickets.
Steadily since Woody took over the team. My dad got the tickets in around 94-95 and I believe they were something like $25-$30 (upper deck).
It gets worse every year. Pay more..get less. And Abraham bitches that $8.3 million is not enough. I swear we are all masochists
