The guide on DirecTV said it was going to be the playoff game from January 12, 2002 as NFL Films "Game of the Week" and I recorded it anyway. When I sat down to watch it last night I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was actually the regular season finale that we won on January 6, 2002 to get in the playoffs. It's an hour long, lots of good stuff including live sound from the players during the game and radio calls from both teams. Lots of Howard David and Dave Jennings. At the end they were in the Jets locker room, Herm spoke and then Vinny presented him with a game ball. I'm not sure when they are running it again, but as a heads up, if it says they are showing the playoff game, which was a loss, you may want to record it anyway because it might be this game again.
I got fooled by that! But I still enjoyed watching it. One Jet note; I forgot what a good player Mo Lewis was.
I forgot what a weird game that was overall. Vinny was horrible, Curtis Martin was held to 50 yards, the defense was spotty and we managed to win the game on the road in a place we hadn't won in about 40 years.
