All year.... 1. A "good" defense that can't get off the field. Can't finish on 3rd down. Can't close out games. 2. An offense that often produces nothing. We lost most of our games when our offense produced almost NOTHING, ZERO, NADA. In the reg season NE blowout we saw both 1 and 2 for an entire horrible game. In this playoff loss we saw 1 and 2 for the first half. Finally at the end of the game we saw a defense that could not close. We needed a big stop from our D at the end we didn't get it. We've seen this all season. Fact is the problems we had ALL YEAR came back to haunt us and kill our season. It's not a mystery. Needs: DE's more pressure to finish games. Safeties better coverage on 3rd down. Beef up O-Line for more consistent running game and deep passing pass protection.
