I edited the title because most of us live on the Eastern time zone

I bet you will pay for it if the Pats are going for 16-0 week 17 vs the Giants..

If the NFL isn't careful, they will be losing fans just like MLB

This has nothing to do with the NFL.

Cable companies like Comcast, Time Warner, and Cablevision refuse to offer NFLN as a basic cable channel (as in, you don't have to pay extra for a sports pack to have it). So until they except that, the NFL won't give the cable companies the channel, which I believe is the right move. If DirecTV, Dish Network, and FiosTV all offer it as a basic channel, why can't the cable companies do the same?

It's a damn cunundrum....Comcast wants to position them as a "niche" network...(which they really are ) and not pay them the same as a CNN or weather channel....but the NFL wants to be on BASIC so that they can get more viewers = higher charges to advertisers....it's a damn mess...I don't have a favorite in this fight, I just wish every FAN could see EVERY GAME
