Damn Comcast!!!! No NFL Network unless I pay for it....and I refuse to. I would love to see the game!
This has nothing to do with the NFL. Cable companies like Comcast, Time Warner, and Cablevision refuse to offer NFLN as a basic cable channel (as in, you don't have to pay extra for a sports pack to have it). So until they except that, the NFL won't give the cable companies the channel, which I believe is the right move. If DirecTV, Dish Network, and FiosTV all offer it as a basic channel, why can't the cable companies do the same? More info: http://iwantnflnetwork.com/
It's a damn cunundrum....Comcast wants to position them as a "niche" network...(which they really are ) and not pay them the same as a CNN or weather channel....but the NFL wants to be on BASIC so that they can get more viewers = higher charges to advertisers....it's a damn mess...I don't have a favorite in this fight, I just wish every FAN could see EVERY GAME
