Jets piss poor OL gets no help

Its clear that the jets FO doesn't have a clue what the draft or the NFL is about but it's been that way for almost my whole life

 

Are you kidding me? Seriously tell me you are kidding me. This was an extremely weak draft at OL. You don't force a pick for the sake of taking a position. The two safeties they drafted are both studs. The next two WR's were absolute steals where they picked them. The TE is a tremendous value. Don't call out the FO when they get it right. That's embarrassing., The only thing clear in this thread is some fans don't get it. Just because they were terrible last season doesn't mean you pile on after good picks.

Our piss poor secondary got help instead.

 

Wasn't really a good draft for o line.
Looks like we got some potential playmakers though and should have solved one of last year's bigger problems in the secondary.
All in all not bad considering what was available in this draft

 

We had so many fuckin needs they weren't all going to be addressed in one draft.

 

Terrible O-Line class, no need to force it.

 

Youre such a homer it's not even funny. The way you talk up every one of these picks, one would think they are sure fire pro bowlers. The fans have a reason to be upset and a case can easily be made that you don't get it. If they were such steals, other teams would of scooped them up. Very rarely do any of this teams past or present GMs draft any steals. The holes on this team are still very large and once again, they don't draft any impact playmakers on offense early and continue to be a bottom 5-10 offense. We fans are sick of these over their head GMs trying to build a defense while neglecting the offense for over 9 years now. None of these guys realize this is now an offense oriented league.

 

You can only pick from the players available, so if the OL players available are only so, so you cant make one better by picking him 2 rounds above where he should be picked.

Hopefully the OL talent in next years draft will be better and this years draft will have sorted our defence out.

 

All I know is every team would win the super bowl every year if their fans ran the teams.

 

Our gm and coach unfortunately don't have a clue yet again. Best we can do is start over. Again

 

And don't fucking tell me there was no OL talent available. The browns took that Roderick guy who was one of the best guys left on the board with a pick that we traded them for whatever reason

 

Clearly he is destined to be a pro bowler because he was drafted.

I still agree with you, but I'm losing confidence in him as we speak.

 

I'll take my chances with them too over an arm chair GM. It's easy to draft players based on the work that all the draft analysts have already done.

 

Our starters are set unless we re-sign mangold. So as for depth there ares till some decent OL free agents and Undrafted rookie fee agents aswell
