God I really hope this happens , we'll really see Thomas Jones and Leon explode this coming season if we can also ink a RT.

Seems like it. And from Rotoworld:
"The Jets are the favorites to land Faneca when the market opens late tonight. Faneca's contract is expected to include at least $20 million guaranteed."
Certainly wouldn't mind paying some bucks for him if it helps us

    Also from rotoworld...

In addition to G Alan Faneca, OL Damien Woody, LB Calvin Pace, and DE Tommy Kelly are reportedly on the Jets' free agent wish list. They'll be competing with San Francisco and possibly New England for Pace's services. Kelly (6'6/300) would play end in the Jets' 3-4. Denver also has him on its radar. Woody could be a fallback if they can't land Faneca.

If we landed Faneca, Woody, Pace and Kelly I'd crap my pants. Kelly on end would be a force. Faneca AND Woody would seriously raise the bar on the O-Line and Pace would be such a great help on OLB. This would give us the freedom to really go after BPA with our first pick. If we also landed Rogers and a 2nd Rounder for Vilma, we'd be on track to tear it up this year.

Dware's old avatar is a fitness model...they figured out the name in a previous thread in the main forum (she's butt up close btw). His new one is some porn star that I'm sure Tballz could rattle off a resume for in his sleep.

    I'm with you 'beats.

I like the sound of things. We might actually be major players in free agency for the first time in my lifetime.

The New York Daily News reports that the Jets, who are usually reluctant to open their checkbook in free agency, might be willing to spend big to go after Pro Bowl guard Alan Faneca. The team waived Adrien Clark this week and getting Faneca to fill the hole on the left side will cost the Jets, as Faneca could command at least $19 million in guarantees.
