From Rotoworld: Well, I think the situation now is Jeremy Maclin or another position at 17. I was ready to jump on board the Hakeem Nicks train until he got fat during the most important month of his life. Kenny Britt has too many "ifs" to justify a top 20 pick, IMO. Wouldn't mind trding down to get him, or up into the top half of second to do so, but 17 seems a little high. Jeremy Maclin, Jarron Gilbert, quarterback or running back seem like the main candidates now. I'll be thrilled with Maclin, Gilbert, Wells or Moreno, notsomuch with anyone else. Especially a QB. It was nice to hear the high praise for Cotch though, wasn't it? EDIT: Of course, could just be a smoke screen to drop these dudes into the second round so we can pluck them. I'd love to trade up a few spots in the second and come away with Hakeem Nicks, flub or no. Fuck Percy Harvin, though.
Yeah...I was disappointed with Nicks showing up to his Pro Day reeking of Cheetos as well. Maybe he'll drop to us in the 2nd round (if he makes it past the Gmen) I'd like to see us grab Maclin (don't think he'll last till 17) or one of the QBs (Sanchez or Stafford). With the hoopla that TJones is putting the Jets through....a Moreno pick would be welcomed as well.
