He told us he thought the Jets would trade for former Washington Redskins first round pick Patrick Ramsey soon, but still "might" use the 4th overall pick on Vanderbilt quarterback Jay Cutler, who, as we reported at the Senior Bowl, the Jets love. He also believes the Jets aren?t real interested in Matt Leinart, as many believe, and the team is "afraid" of drafting Vince Young that high. The guys from Draftdaddy.com are huge Jets fans (Bitonti,R44 and GreenJets&ham or Jabajet as you know him) R44 hosts our chats for us and we have a great relationship with them. They are JN posters. I guess you forgot about his broken wrist in 2003, his torn rotator cuff in 2004, and oh yeah...his torn rotator cuff in 2005...Chad Pennington has extreme durability issues and will be 30 years old this season. Stick a fork in Chad because he is done.
I think we should try to work out a 3 team trade with the Skins and with Atlanta. Not sure exactly how it would work, but we get Schaub and a pick, maybe Atlanta's 3rd, Atlanta get Abraham and Ramsey and maybe Atlanta gives the Skins a 5th rounder. So that would be Jets - Schaub and 3rd Rounder from Atlanta Atlanta - Abraham and Ramsey Skins - 5th from the Jets Seems far to me...
The only problem is...I don't ever remember hearing about a three team trade in the NFL...basketball for sure... Otherwise it makes sense as far as compensation is concerned...
