Falcons, Jets hold firm line http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/jets/story/401535p-340138c.html
RUNYAN TO VISIT JETS. http://www.newsday.com/sports/footb...70487mar21,0,6382393.story?coll=ny-jets-print
Runyan would be a great short term solution, but that's not what we are looking for. If we were to sign him, it looks more and more like we would be taking a QB if we stay at 4. "They're also showing interest in former Seahawks cornerback Andre Dyson." Andre Dyson would be a GREAT addition. He is probably the only good free agent CB under the age of 30 (I think he's 26). We need to do something about David Barrett. IMO he is nothing more than a nickel back. Depending on how Miller plays out, I think Dyson could be a VERY storng #2.

Nice job again Hydro. Do you ever sleep man? Dyson would be a great signing. I'm also glad to see the Jets will not budge on Abe. A first rounder, or he is back in green and white, like it or not! This FO is making all sorts of moves under the radar. What a difference a year makes!

Props to Hydro51.. I am new to TGG.. I go into work at 3AM and I have been viewing Hydro's posts for months before I was a member. Thanks for all the EARLY Jets/NFL News!
Privately, the Jets are saying they'd sooner keep Abraham, against his wishes, than trade him for less than a first-round pick. Lurking in the shadows are the Seahawks, who have offered their first-rounder (No. 31). The Jets will accept that proposal, but Abraham apparently doesn't want to play in Seattle. This part is the most encouraging...hold the line screw ATL and abe, a pissed player @ 8.3 mil is better than taking less...if ATL wants him, come up with a 1st rounder or don't pick up the phone
Dyson is young and he played really well opposite Rolle, but he was horrible last year before his injury.
Dyson and Dwight would be great pickups.....they need of offer contracts to these guys so they wont go no where else....great work Hydro51
I agree about Dyson being a big pickup. I think he'd be our #1 CB though. DB #2 > Miller in 3rd.... yes he is 26 btw...turning 27 relatively soon...but still...he's really young:breakdance:
I said it before and I will say it again...HYDRO IS ONE KIND BROTHER!! Keep it up man! Dyson would be nice, Runyon is no spring chicken- but I can live with it if they do not give him more than a 2 year deal, and yes....STAY THE F*&K AWAY FROM T-BUCK! That guy is freakin mush!
Well, T-Buck isn't in the plans...It's TeBucky... Anyway... Jets | Team remains interested in A. Dyson Tue, 21 Mar 2006 06:27:29 -0800 Rich Cimini, of the New York Daily News, reports the New York Jets remain interested in free agent CB Andre Dyson (Seahawks), who recently visited with the team. I would love for the Jets to be able to snag Dyson and Runyan...Right now just visits, but lets hope things heat up...
But he would be an upgrade over Barrett as the #2 Corner...The Jets courted him last season but obviously got Law...I'm hopin for Dyson because our CB situation is very weak. Kenny Wright is nothing more than a Nickel Corner...
