Jets: Kitna, von Oelhoffen drop in for visit Monday, March 13, 2006 http://www.nj.com/jets/ledger/index.ssf?/base/sports-0/1142229919119420.xml&coll=1
You have people come in and let them leave? Wtf. Either they were back up plans or the jets dont know how to keep people from leaving. I thought that would change. Hopefully they know what they are doing.
I'm sure these interviews are set up for more than just begging these guys to stay and play for the Jets! How about getting a feel for the guys passion, preferences, wants and needs? Not every good available player is going to fit in with the "new Jets".
also when you take that beggin route it always equal to overpaying for guys just so they wont visit any teams.
I don't see how the Redskins can be a player in landing Abraham. While it may be good for Abraham, I don't think it would be good for us. I wouldn't even start to think about it unless they gave us their second round pick this year and their first round next next year.
I guess you could say that, but he could very well be a Belichek disciple too because he was under Belichek's direct management and not Parcells.
http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_3593629 This is an article that holds significant Jet interest. It says Oakland is now a player in the Abe sweepstakes. Also the Browns are interested(best available draft pick.)
Do you think the Jets would do OK in a JAbe trade if they took a 2 in 2006, a 2 in 2007 and Washington also sent us Ramsey?
Yes, that would be a good trade. It was something I was thinking of. I think we know where Abe is headed by Friday.
