As per a Ravens beat writer: http://twitter.com/RavensInsider/status/10242472503 He's recovering from a torn ACL and probably could be had cheaply. Played safety, nickel and outside corner for the Colts, though my guess is the Jets would be looking at him as a safety, possibly moving him to nickel in some packages.
Did Jackson get cut or lowest tender or something ? Because looking at this guys salary, we almost definitely cannot sign him
I didn't realize he suffered an ACL injury. I remember when he came outta (Michigan?) that he looked like a solid CB. Having played in that Colts Cover 2 scheme, I wonder how well he'd fit in Rex's scheme. Could he be another possible CB-switch-to-S?
He's been a solid spot starter for the Colts for a few seasons now. He was counted on to step up and be a full time starter this past season but had the aforementioned injury. He's another physical Midwestern type corner...Physical,good hips, smart and good technique. He has decent feet but you can beat him deep. Much like Poole he's another low risk high reward type guy. Still young, ALOT of talent and would come cheaply due to some health concerns. With Revis and Cromart we can afford to take the risk.
