This deserved its own thread because we will be discussing who is too low and who is too high I am sure...here is the link:

    http://sports.ign.com/madden08/jets.html

    Mangold - 89 - Should be like 91

    Dyson - 84 - should be closer to 90

Drew Coleman - 62 - way too low...he should be low 70s at least

    Leon Washington - 80 - give me a damn break....thats a joke

Thomas Jones - 88 - again too low, shoudl be 90 at least...this is effin gay

Mike Nugent - 84 - the guy makes liek 24 straight to finish the season and gets 84....these guys do not know shit

Vilma - 95 - did less last season and his rating goes up...these guys suck

Bryan Thomas - 82 - too low again

Vic Hobson - 80 - OMG fuckin brutal

Kerry Rhodes - 94 - finally they get ONE right

    Coles - 91 - decent

Cotchery - 86 - fair but it wil go up when rosters get updated I bet.

Overall, we got fucked, this is one of the most bullshti team ratings I have ever seen in Madden...these video gaem nerds need to hire some pros to rate these gusy instead of giving 99s to the guys who get SI covers and have their names on TV.

Brad Smith a 65 at WR and Stuckey a 69? Are you damn kidding me? My god...this is absolutely freaking pathetic.

He had a really good season kickign fieldgoals outside of the first game. If only he could get a touchback every once in a while, or at least consistently make it past the 8 yard line he would be rated alot higher

How does Pennington have an awareness of 84? I know the stat doesn't really matter but he's got to be smarter than 90% of the other Qbs out there. Brad Smith a 65 and Barrett a 75 are also complete jokes.

They only gave Leon Washington 91 speed. That's the worst of them all.

    And Coles has a 97.

Oh well - no one said this game was realistic. I'll adapt to what they give me.

Bryan Thomas is way too low, deserves around an 88, Rhodes is maybe 2 or 3 points to high for one really good season, I need to check Leon's elusiveness b/c that should be a 95 or above

I think Brad Smith being rated a 65 is just stupid...

Bryan thomas could have gotten more love, but I would give him a 85 or so.

Kenyon Coleman 70 overall? Don't these guys factor in contract deals in boosting their ratings.

Drew Coleman had a sack, a forced fumble, good on specials teams. That deserves a 68.

Barton and Hobson mixed up for ILB and OLB. I'm gonna love Harris...

What sucks is that Kenyon isn't even usable, 70 overall is trash.

Brandon Moore 88 overall? Maybe he saw that and that's why he should be paid more...88!? Wow...81-82 would of been more like it.

    The updates will be...

Cut Blanton, move Clarke to LG. Sign Michael Haynes. Flip Barton and Hobson. Cut Houston and sign some scrub.

Didn't Revis run like a 4.45? I would of put him at 91 or 92.

Leon at 91 is a head scratcher...He's only 1 speed more than Jones? Yeah right.

Why should he be rated any higher? He had around 650 yards rushing, and he is probably gonna be used as a change of pace back this season. His speed and agility will make him a weapon in Madden, but just because you are a Jets fan, don't overrate players that had decent years.

Exactly, I'd be willing to bet that puts Leon among the top 5-10 among backup RBs in the game.

Eh....not really surprised IMO.They really stuck it to players that didn't have a probowl type impact last year, I guess there really trying to make there weapon system stand out.

Good WR tandem/Great 1-2 at Rb/Accurate Qb/Playmaking Safety and LB, a good not great roster setup heading into the season. No fan of any team outside the top 5 rated teams is going to feel like there team got the credit it deserves.

Stop venting and prepare to rep those jets online by maximizing the talent available.

COmpared to the ratings they are giving other palyers he deserves more than an 80...it should be like 84.

Look at what they gave Rhodes....why?...probably because one of these geeks heard someone say he had a pro bowl year but got snubbed so they figured he should be mid-90s.....Leon deserves more in both agility and speed which menas his overall should go up.

Kenyon Coleman - should be AT LEAST 12 points higher

Bryan Thomas - should be at least 3 points higher

Brandon Moore - should be about 5 points lower

Eric Barton - should be about 2 points higher

Victor Hobson - should be about 4 points higher

Kerry Rhodes - should be about 4 points lower

Ben Graham - should be AT LEAST 3 points higher

Leon Washington - should be at least 2 points faster

Andre Dyson - should be at least 3 points higher

David Barrett - should be at least 7 points higher

Eric Smith - should be about 7 points higher

Shaun Ellis - should be about 2 points lower

Jonathon Vilma - should be about 4-5 points lower

I don't have a problem with it, when you throw 16 picks compared to 17 touchdowns, you obviously aren't all that aware.

Coleman 82 overall? Sorry. I know the contract boosts ratings, but only 4.5 sacks in minimal playing time, I can understand a low rating, but 70 is horseshit. I would of put him from 76-78 overall range.
