Various websites are reporting that we are intrested in Fairley, which tells me we expect to lose Harrison. The Titans are the favorites acording to what's being said on all the various media sites.I think I'm gonna be sick, losing Harrison is gonna be brutal he's one of our top young players.Top young players aren't something we have a whole lot of

    Damn.

Hope it helps with Fitz at least. Hopefully Mac scored with Deon Simon too.

    I guess it was inevitable

The Revis contract is looking worse and worse by the day,39 million guranteed tying up a ton of money we could be using to keep our young players intact instead of veterans on the decline

Harrison to Fairley would not be
Much of a drop off. Especially with the guys already on that line. I'm suprised honestly I thought they wouldn't replace Harrison with anyone

Won't cry over this change, not too big of a fall off from Harrison and will save us money in the long run overall, can't invest so much in a 2 down DT.

Wouldnt be much of a drop off?Fairley wasn't even a starter with the Rams....The two aren't even in the same league. Its like replacing Aaron Rodgers with Curtis Painter

His comparison might be a stretch but to think Fairley is anywhere near as good as snacks is absurd

Hence the usage of the term "drop off"

Your words were not much of a drop off. It will be a significant drop off.

Farley isn't much of a NT so by losing Snacks and adding him we would likely be moving to far more base 4-3 looks meaning we won't have to see Sheldon playing linebacker anymore.

Williams-Richardson-Farley-Wilkerson is still very very good.

That's much better than very very good, that's the best defensive line in football. Farley is very good and although he may not be the elite run stopper Smacks is, he's a better pass rusher

Don't see Fairley as a nose tackle. He plays a 3 technique. More of a penetrator than an anchor.

No it's not, that is four DT's on a line, fat run stuffers with no speed. And replacing Wilkerson for fairly makes sense, not a 350 lb NT in Harrison
