Coronavirus is going to do a good job of sorting the fools out from the rest of the population. It's really easy to catch and unless you are lucky it is hard to get rid of. Early on this selection mechanism was not in play because we didn't know enough about the virus to allow most people to avoid it. At this point if you are gathering in large groups (large meaning in the range of a dozen or more) and you are unmasked, well you are just walking into the viruses hot zone because it really wants lots of unmasked people to flourish. We still haven't caught on to the real threat from SARS-CoV-2. That is that it becomes seasonal and culls people every year with outbreaks in the late fall that then sputter through the rest of the year. The flu vaccine is about 50% effective in any given year. It helps in suppressing major outbreaks of the flu but it doesn't stop a culling effect on the older and immune-compromised populations. It's not a coronavirus however. We have never deployed an effective vaccine against a coronavirus to date and it is unlikely SARS - CoV - 2 is going to be the one that breaks the mold. People look at the SARS - CoV - 2 and they discount the threat it represents even as it wreaks havoc all around them. This is because the issue, like Climate Change, has become politicized and politicians whose only real interest is to get re-elected have chosen to throw lots of resources into getting re-elected at all costs. This is true even as the Chief-denier hacks and coughs his way through interviews with a steroid mix in his system that would raise the dead for a few hours. A mix that he cannot possibly continue to take for more than another month or so without truly destroying his internal organs - a process the virus started and that he is gladly helping along because he's one of the aforementioned fools.

that will be it for me. if gase stays i go. i said it last year but knew in my heart we wouldnt fire him because it hadnt been long enough and they were still paying bowles. at this point if they hold onto him i just cant do it anymore. ill find other things to do on sunday afternoons again.
