Going out to watch a band at a bar then probably gonna stop in at a couple other establishments for a beverage or two.

I was thinking of rocking the Revis green with a Jets hat. It will be extra nice since one guy who will be there is a Bills fan.

Last time I wore a jersey out to a bar here on a weekend evening (not a place I plan to go tonight) I got carded at the door and when I commented to my buddy that I was surprised by it, the doorman says "yeah well we just don't see many adults wearing that kind of stuff in here".....it was a freaking pub for heaven's sake...

Anyway....it's not over the top, right? Maybe just go jersey and no hat??

Hat and T-shirt - A jersey out on the town on a non-football day over doing it. But if it makes you happy go for it.

    seriously?

first the bouncer was an idiot.

second your worried about a jersey being considered obnoxious when you go out? have you seen what other people wear out at night?

I'm flying to Dallas in 2 hrs. Wearing my Jets hat. Have all my shit ready to go on Sunday. Not sure if Dallas fans will be with us or against us but i'll probably be one of the only jet fans in the bar there.

A jersey is too much on a non-gameday?

I usually only rock the jersey on gameday or within a day or two after a win. But it's the playoffs so you do what you gotta do.

Go ahead and wear it. I wore my jersey today and had at least 20 people say "Go Jets!" or "Revis is insane and got robbed"

It's not that often we are in the Divisional round, wear your green.

Hey if you want to Rock your jersey on a Wednesday go ahead. Im not going to pretend I have never done it. But it is a tad too much IMO. Id say you get a pass because of the playoffs though.

I think after a certain age, wearing jersey's to anything other than the games themselves (or possibly to a bar to watch a game) is a little weird

I feel obligated in a way.

The Jets take shit form everyone all the time. Now they are in the playoffs and not only that but everyone who pays attention to the NFL knows about the D, knows Rex talks a lot and that they are as good, at least on D, as he said they would be....

People finally see how good Revis is because finally everyone is talking about him.

And above all that, we are in the playoffs and forget about sneaking in because we won the first game.

I'm proud to be a Jets fan all year but tonight I wanna make it obvious. I think I'll go all out...probably even gonna throw on the Jets belt buckle....

Just make sure the players name on the back of your jersey is spelled correctly.

Rock the jersey. I bet you will make some new Jets friends before the night is through. I've been wearing my assorted green and white shirts all week.

Hats in certain establishments is sometimes a taboo though just depends on where you are going.

Most importantly, have fun and toast the Jets during your night out!
