    (I apologize if this is already common knowledge, but was curious about the Raider's coaching staff and found this info on their site.)

    I am predicting a breakout year for JaMarcus Russell in 2009 under the tutelage of our old friend:

    Russell is being taught how to throw WR screens and passes to the TE in the flat.

    Honestly nothing says failure like coaching USC to the worst years in the history of the program. ... honestly if you can't go 7-4 or 7-5 at USC you probably should reconsider your chosen line of work.

    No. He was kind of like an adviser for the team, and took over as QB coach early this year.

    Have the Raiders hired Bruce Coslet as well?

    How about bringing Joe Walton in for a special clinic on "how to gain 6 useless yards on a dumpoff when the OC calls for a draw on 3rd and 15"?

    I'll pass on Paul Hackett the playcaller, but I'll take Paul Hackett the QB development guy any day of the week. He hasn't been in this game this long because he sucks at everything.
