I know everyone's been saying we need a pass rushing, 3-4 Defensive End as our first round pick. We also need a nose tackle, and safety. Wide Reciever has also been a topic since we probably are only gonna be able to keep one of Santonio Holmes/Braylon Edwards.

    For DE:
    Nick Fairley
    Jeremy Beal
    Allan Bailey
    JJ Watt
    Adrian Claybourn
    Da'Quan Bowers
I wouldn't mind if they went after Cameron Heyward either since he also plays DT but i'd rather they go after one of the guys I just listed. I hope we get Nick Fairley, but Beal seems more realistic and i would be happy with either.
    For DT:
    Marvin Austin
    Ian Williams
    Kendrick Ellis
    Jerrelle Powe
We need a DT badly since we can no longer rely on Kris Jenkins to hold up a full season. If he decides to keep on playing I can see the Jets offering a small 2-year contract and see how he does, but it's time to be loooking for his replacement. I think Ian Williams could be had in the second round, but if Cromartie does better towards the end, we'd be lucky to have him at round 3.
    For WR(if needed):
Austin Pettis is the only guy I would see being available if we need a WR in the fourth round. But if the need becomes urgent, we could probably slot WR up and pick up someone like Michael Floyd or Julio Jones, or we can trade picks to get them.
    Safety:
They can pick up DeAndre McDaniel, but I would be much happier if they got Joseph Lefeged. This has really become an urgent need since tdespite the hard-nosed play of JL we've been getting burned in the mid-field especially by Tight Ends. Joe Lefeged would be my choice right here.

I think those are our most urgent needs right now, some players I would reccommend. Thoughts?

Hmmm...I don't want to sound like a dick, but this looks like you have no idea what you're talking about. You can ask any of us through PM if you have a question about a player - we'll help you out. This is post is just a mess though man.

In our scheme, there's no such thing as a pass rushing 3-4 defensive end. There's 3-4 outside linebackers, nose tackles, and 3-4 ends in our front seven.

Linemen like Allen Bailey, JJ Watt, Adrian Clayborn, Marvin Austin, and Nick Fairley don't play the same position that Jeremy Beal does.

In our scheme, Beal would play 3-4 outside linebacker, while the other guys would be defensive ends.

Marvin Austin isn't a nose tackle. He's got great athleticism and would most likely play 3-4 end.

Ian Williams, Jerrell Powe, and Kendrick Ellis could play nose tackle in our scheme - you were right about that.

Da'Quan Bowers is dominating right now, but I think he's strictly a 4-3 end. He's at his best with his hand in the ground.

The more that I think about DeAndre McDaniel on the Jets, the more I like it. He's a converted linebacker that has great ball skills. He's made a lot of bonehead mistakes this season, but he's got the ability to be a great matchup against tight ends. I'm not sure we'll be able to have that much money invested into our secondary though.

Didn't exactly expect my first thread to be good. But I really like Jeremy Beal, but he's listed as a 3-4 End. Though his primary position was OLB. Marvin Austin is also listed as a DT, but I don't think we'll get him, Ian Williams sound s more realistic. The point of this was asking what players would you draft though.

Jeremy Beal isn't a 3-4 end though. He plays a lot of end in the 4-3 for Oklahoma.

Marvin Austin is listed a defensive tackle, because he plays DT in UNC's 4-3 scheme. He projects a 3-4 end at the next level.

I would take Nick Fairley over everyone you listed and Jeremy Beal would be next on my list.
