This will be my first road game, and I'm planning a huge tailgate with some buddies from here in NY and a few in Detroit. Going to be a Lions/Jets hybrid tailgate, so if anyone is going to the game, let me know.
Well.. I guess it was nice knowing you guys. I heard season tickets over there include a casket and headstone.
If the Jets played in the middle of Iraq, I would still go to the games. Because a city is labeled as a "Rough City" really isn't stopping me from going to a game. I've been to Detroit before and managed to walk away unscathed as do the 50,000+ that attend every Lions game.
I'll let you guys know where I'll be. Going to need some Jets fans at the tailgate since we'll be outnumbered by Lions fans.
Yeah, if something goes down, my Lions fan cousins will probably kill me first just to let everyone know that they're serious.
I'm going with my wife. Let me know where you'll be tailgating and ill try to figure out how to find ya.
much ado and angst about nothing from zenophobes who have baseball teams that play in the South Bronx and in Corona, two of the crappiest areas in the entire city, no less.
I hear tell of a pretty massive tailgate planned in a lot behind some place called Bookie's bar and Grill which is pretty close to the stadium...I was cruising JI and Jetnation and it looks like there will be quite the turn-out.
You can buy an all you can eat and drink pass for the lions stadium for $35 bucks check it out. I will be at the browns game next weekend. I figured it was crazy to drive 5 hours each way to go to each game from cincinnati, but going to the browns cause all of my roomates are from cleves and love the browns
Lots of Jets fans, and a great city to tailgate. There's something fun about tailgating within the city limits, especially only a few blocks away from the stadium.
Yeah was a pretty good experience overall. Were happy with the fans overall. Tailgated with some fans about 2 blocks away from the stadium. Was a great time and a good (not pretty) win.
