I guess it'll be hard to criticize any of the moves sense nobody is gonna know who's on the team opening day.

I'm convinced they have no idea what they're doing at CB...of course I hope I'm wrong but this is getting ridiculous

I'm surprised we would cut a guy who knows the system and sign two other cbs of equal skills who may not know the system ,I still feel we shouldn't have cut Patterson but I understand why Idzik felt he had to

Too bad. I've always liked Lankster. Especially for that tackle above!

Lankster was uneven at CB.. he was a decent back up but his real value was on special teams, he was a very good special teams guy. I don't know if the other guys play ST or not. With KO returns largely removed from the game his ST value isn't as valuable on KO's but with who they have punting, I sure hope they don't miss him on the punt team.

They also have a lot of other guys that are supposed to be really good special teamers, including one of the CBs they picked up. I think they felt that Lankster wasn't really necessary as a special teamer given the other strong special teamers they have.

Also, its apparent that the jets were trying to delay exposing their draft picks to waivers, so that other teams rosters would already be filled out and they would be less likely to place a waiver claim against the jets draft picks. Hence keeping Enumwa and George on the original 53rd but then trying to put them through waivers later on so they can get them on the practice squad. I suspect part of the reason George was replaced by Edds was because Bellore was hurt and while they think George might be able to learn the position over time, he wasn't there yet in the event one of the jets MLBs got hurt on Sunday. In fact, its possible that Bellores injury might have worsened necessitating the switch.

Lankster was a superior STs player and he did well at dime and sparingly at nickel. He'd never surprise anyone though.

Doesn't seem like he's be a cut for a couple of the corners they just brought in.

They gave him 2 years to reach 4'-0" in height. That's long enough. See ya!
