Friday, October 13, 2006 With love, Jason October 13, 2006 Jason Taylor has mellowed. Miami's sometimes emotional, trash-talking superstar "outside end" waxed nostalgic this week about the Jets-Dolphins rivalry. "It's always a joy to come up to the Big Apple and get a chance to play against the guys in the green," he said. Taylor even included in that joy one of the targets of his occasional rants: Gang Green fans. As he told The Miami Herald, "They know I love them deep down." He almost took a swipe at Jets nation, then caught himself. But for anyone who wonders why he has this love-hate relationship with the Meadowlands faithful: "Just bring a microphone down on the field before the game and you'll see why I say bad things about them." -- Randy Lange
Taylor is a tool. He should spend more time trying to find ways to help his team win and less time spewing this garbage about Jets fans. F J-Tay. TBTF
Quote: I believe everything that anyone else has watched Chad play impresses me the same thing impresses them [sic]. He's quality classy quarterback . . . He's not a thrower he's a passer, his mind is ahead of what the defense is, and if the Jets can support him they will win the championship. - JWN Is there a Namath quote about Chad where he isn't drunk and trying to make out with a sexualy ambiguous member of the ESPN sideline crew?
