I know that many of you will think that I am too radical in my choices.but I am going for the best value in this draft.who I think will be good pros in the n.f.l.
    1-jarron gilbert d.e.
    2-rashad jennings r.b.
    3-ramses barden w.r.
    4-sammie lee hill n.t. sleeper
6- bear pascoe t.e. tough as nails blocker
    7-andy kemp o.g.

I agree with you...to an extent. I love Sammie Lee Hill, as I know many people on this board do as well. I am not sold on Jennings. I think the value/ pro potential of Donald Brown is much better. I think some receivers need to be added in there...Robiskie immediately comes to mind.

However, if we talk about late round value, I think Tiquan Underwood (one of the Rutgers guys I work with), and Demetrius Byrd out of LSU have great potential. Byrd had a really high draft stock coming into this past college season, and LSU's quarter back situation was disastrous. He is going to be a great receiver in the NFL.

I like everything except Rashad Jennings in round two - I think that's too high for him.

I know we disagree on Rashad as a prospect, and I admit I'm biased from having the opportunity to see him play every home game for the last 3 years (as well as talking to him on occasion). But where we are picking in round 2 it'd be a reach, especially since he could be had in round 3. He's a solid pick around 75-90. Anywhere after, Rashad's a steal.

Additionally, Gillbert at 17 I feel is a safe pick, but hardly best value.

I actually agree with you - if Jennings makes it to the end of round three or into round four, he'll be a steal.

He's just not a second rounder.

Gilbert isn't good value at 17. He's not the BPA there. I like him, but there are a few other players I'd go with before him. If the Jets really love them, they'd be better off trading back to the late 20's and picking up an extra 2nd/3rd.

I'd go with Greene before Jennings in the 2nd. Sammie Lee Hill is a nice pick.

Decent players........value isn't based on a certain player, it's based on WHERE a player is drafted (which round) according to their ranking. Too early to determine value...have to wait to April 25th.

Mark my words...Ramses Barden doesn't make it to the Jets in Rd 3.

This draft is loaded with small school guys... Honestly, I don't like that..

Gilbert is the guy in the first..

I'm not the biggest Rashad Jennings fan, but I would be OK with him there. Ditto that with Ramses Barden and Sammie Lee Hill. Barden has a few too many question marks that would worry me if I was a GM.

I like Bear Pascoe as well. He'll probably be there in the 7th too.

Overall, I'm not a fan though..

yeah Barden has impressed me with his workouts. I cant say ive seen film of him, but I always sort of lumped him in with like the tall guy with average speed but hell I'm liking him more and more when I see those 40 times

How many places are you going to post this?

If you want to make a mock then make your own thread. No need to put that in here.

If we go RB in the first, it has to be Moreno. That being said, I'd rather wait until the mid rounds or so to take one.

I doubt Gilbert will be around in the 2nd. Plus he's a 3-4 DE. David Veikune will be a 3-4 OLB oe a 4-3 DE. Two different positions there... He's on the rise, but not the best of values.

I think Louis Murphy is more of a workout warrior, which would shy me away if I was a GM. Plus, Florida WRs have awful track records in the NFL.

Oh, and don't hijack a thread with your own mock draft. Create a new one and put just a bit more effort into it too...

I'd prefer Shonn Greene to Jennings who, like others here, I believe to be a reach in the 2nd. Jennings does not have nearly as good feet as Greene and is slow to hit the hole. While he is very strong, he does not seem to accelerate well and runs with a high pad level. He's a downhill runner who needs to take several steps to decelerate into his "one cut" and to my eyes he seems very slow in and out of his cuts. I have concerns that he may end up being nothing more than just a short yardage specialist in the NFL against players who are significantly bigger, stronger and faster than those he played against in college whereas Greene is a much more nimble, big man who consistently runs with a much lower pad level and who I feel is both a more elusive and punishing inside runner. I like all your other picks, though.
