Again, I didn't see a prediction thread so please merge if one exists. Jets 23-13 Dolphins Jets Offense keeps it ticking on the Dolphins and their two "shut(the fuck up)down corners". Schotty keeps his head out of his behind. Rex blitz the fuck on the Dolphins, and takes a god damn snack break at half time. Sanchez has a decent outing, just not as great as last wk. A few check downs and 200+ yards performance, 1 TD, 0 pick. Keller is held in check, but opens up big running plays. LT goes crazy on them and gets 90+ yards on 15+ carries, 1 TD. Greene gets 10 carries for 50+ yards. Jets average over 5 yards a carry. Cotch and Edwards combine for 130 yards and 1 TD on 10 receptions. Cromartie gets a pick (again), and keeps Marshall in check. Wilson gets burned once on a big play, but holds the fort for the most part. Either an LB or a safety gets a pick, possibly David Harris while they are covering Fasano. Ronnie's last game of season produces him 22 yards on 9 carries when a Cromartie shove (yes, Cromartie shove) results in season ending injury (just prediction). Henne is harrassed all day long and Bart Scott lays a nice hit on him. JT doesn't get a sack. Bart does. Prediction of the day: Gholston gets ZERO sacks.
Being Realistic here, I see Sanchez Having at least one int in this one Jets 31- Dolphins 28 I also see Braylon Edwards having 2 td's in this one. One in which after he scores, he holds the ball like a cup, tilts it up like he's drinking and then flips off the dolphin fans, thus leading to Breaking news on ESPN for all of next week.
It'll be a 3PT game, decided in the last minute, as always seems to be the case. Jets win. Final score, one of 6-3, 17-14, 73-70
73-70 seems about right. But I have a feeling thats too many points, so maybe it gets decided at 68-71.
either way, it will likely be an epic showdown that comes down to what the last team with the ball can do.
I hope the game ends on a negative play by the Jets on a 3rd down. I heard Sanchez did a great job on kneel downs last week.
It's pretty obvious the Jets play much better when there is turmoil going on. I expect they will circle the wagons around Edwards and kick Miami's ass. Jets 31-10.
Jets offense will pick up where they left off vs. Pats and the Defense will play like it always does. Sanchez 22 - 29, 265 yards, 2 TDs LT will punch in an additional 2 scores. Folk master flex will kick a 49 yard FG on the opening drive. Jets 31 - Dolphins 10
